Frequently asked questions
Do you look at our finances, HR or contracts?
Only where they slow operations down. Any financial, legal or HR issue is flagged and referred to your accountant, lawyer or HR adviser.
Do we need to know exactly what we want?
No. That’s the purpose of the Diagnostic: start from the symptoms, find the causes and what’s worth fixing.
Will you push AI on us?
No. AI is recommended only where it pays off. Often a checklist, a small automation or existing software does the job better, faster and for less.
Who has access to our data?
Only Kalman Control. We prefer to review your documents on screen. Everything is handled under Québec’s Law 25, and working copies are returned or deleted within 30 days of the presentation. We sign your NDA if needed.
How much of our team’s time does it take?
About half a day in total: short interviews with 2 to 4 people and 20 minutes of questionnaire.
Do you do the work afterwards?
Yes, if you wish. If not, we tell you who should. The report is yours either way.
Why a paid Diagnostic?
A free assessment is often a pitch for a product. The Diagnostic is paid because it’s independent: we recommend what fits, even if it’s not something we sell.
Is the goal to replace people?
No. The goal is to take repetitive work off your best people. In most shops the problem is too few hands, not too many.
